Up on the Roof
The October 6th issue of The Wall Street Journal featured Boulevard's green roof in a special section on the environment. Look at the slideshow for a unique perspective from the top of our new sedum-topped brewhouse, designed to lower our energy consumption and reduce the overall thermal footprint of the building.

Hops Selection Time
John McDonald, Boulevard's Founder and President (far right), along with Brewmaster Steven Pauwels and VP of Operations Steve Mills, recently visited the hops farms of Yakima, WA to determine the characteristics of this year's crop. In selecting hops to use in future Boulevard brews, the three test their skills at sniffing out the bad (onions, chemical...) from the good (lemon, citrus, herbal...).
